Replying to a patient

When you are reviewing and responding to a patient request, if you want to ask for more information or send information to the patient you should click the Reply to patient link at the bottom of the chat history on the request details page.


Asking for more information - Reply required

Enter your question in the message box and click the Reply required button.


The patient will  be sent an email with a link to the message that they can read and respond to in Patchs and the request will also be added to to Awaiting Response inbox.

Sending information - Reply not required

Type your message into the box and click the Reply not required button


The patient will then be sent an email with a link to the message they can read in Patchs.

Messages and responses on the request details page

All messages and responses are displayed in the request chat history.
