Below are details of this month's new developments:

New Features

1. A more intuitive Request Details Page

Managing patient requests should feel effortless. That’s why we’ve redesigned the Request Details Page to make information easier to read at a glance.

For example, the patient banner now features Request Urgency like this:

We’ve made improvements to the buttons and tabs for smoother navigation and updated the chat history colours for clearer visibility for the Patchs Translate feature.

All functionality options are now neatly arranged in a tabbed format, making it faster and more intuitive for you to select your next action and the best way to contact each patient.

You’ll now see a more prominent alert when another staff member is viewing the same patient request, making it even easier to coordinate and avoid duplication.

Besides, the new design makes it easier to view details in the clinical system by logically grouping patient information for a clearer, more intuitive layout.

2. Enhanced patient accessibility experience

To keep patients informed, clearer banners will now alert them if their practice is temporarily unavailable or if request limits have been reached.

The practice landing page has also been enhanced with more useful links to how-to articles on registration, logging in, and general support, along with condition-specific resources and articles from the Patchs Health Hub.

3. Swift registration for Scottish GP practices

Patient registration for Scottish GP practices has been improved with the introduction of CHI number validation.

Now, when Scottish practices register a patient or update their NHS number, they can enter the CHI number directly.

This ensures that the CHI number passes validation at the point of entry, streamlining the process and enhancing the accuracy of patient records.

Feature Newly Out of Pilot

Enhanced Telephone Assistant

Our award-winning Telephone Assistant is now more accurate and efficient with improved transcription capabilities. After great feedback from our pilot practices, it’s now available to all.

If you’d like to start using Telephone Assistant and learn how it streamlines your triage to free up time for your reception team, contact us at features@patchs.ai

Bug Fix

Call routing for multi-practice groups

Telephone requests are now automatically matched to the correct GP practice within multi-practice groups, ensuring that calls are routed efficiently.
