  • Multiple templates

Security Suite*

The Patchs Security Suite comprises three new Patchs features, designed to improve security of the product.

Staff user time-out settings

You can now set your Patchs interface to automatically log users out after a specified period of inactivity. This makes it is less likely that other people will be able to access confidential patient information.

Option to block non-UK IP addresses

It is now possible to enable geo-blocking for your practice. If a patient attempts to login to Patchs from outside the UK, they will be denied access and provided a short explanation as to why.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

You now have the option to enable Multi-Factor Authentication for your practice. If MFA is enabled, staff users will be asked to provide an additional security code when they login. They can choose whether to receive the code via an authenticator app, or by SMS on their phone.

Patient and Consultation Removal*

With the introduction of Patient and Request Removal, staff users can now easily remove patients or requests themselves. There is no longer any need to contact the Patchs Support team to do so.
