Troubleshooting

Toolbar opens PATCHS in Internet Explorer

In June 2022 Microsoft stopped supporting Internet Explorer, so PATCHS should no longer be accessed on Internet Explorer. However, some users have Internet Explorer set as their default browser for opening links. If PATCHS Toolbar opens Internet Explorer when it starts please change your default browser as follows:

  1. In the Windows search bar type 'default apps', and click the 'Default apps' application which appears

  2. Find the 'Web browser' section and click on 'Internet Explorer'default_apps_2.PNG
  3. Choose a modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, or Firefox) from the list of options

  4. Close and re-open the PATCHS Toolbar. It should now open in the browser you selected in step 3
