When this feature is enabled, assigning a patient request to a staff member will automatically create an appointment in the clinical system.
This means that all Patchs activity will be counted in your GPAD reporting.
Enabling the feature
Patchs admin users can enable this feature from the Feature Settings page.
From the same page, your practice's default diary preferences can also be managed:
Once the feature is enabled, the 'Save to appointment diary' option will be available on the request details page when you are assigning a request to a member of staff:
ℹ️ The request will be saved to today's diary so please ensure slots are available before saving!
When the appointment has been saved, you will see this green tick confirmation:
