How to create a message template csv file
To import your existing message templates into Patchs, you need to create a .csv file containing all the message templates. It is important that you provide the correct information in the correct format for the file to successfully upload. You can upload up to 50 message templates at once.
👉 Download an example csv file
The csv file must have four columns:
-
Title – the name of the message template, the file cannot contain any empty title fields or duplicate titles.
-
Message – the content of the message template, the file cannot contain any empty message fields
-
SNOMED code (optional) – the concept ID of a SNOMED code you would like to attach to the message template. Each uploaded message template can only have one SNOMED code. If you wish to have multiple SNOMED codes associated with a message template please edit the template once it has been uploaded. Tip: If you edit the form in Excel please ensure each SNOMED code has a single quote (') in front of it so it's treated as a whole number.
-
Reply required – if the message template requires a patient reply, enter ‘y’ in this field, otherwise leave it empty.
