There are several ways to access Patchs:
- use NHS Login (how to do this is detailed below)
- create an individual Patchs account (see here)
- create a Patchs account as a carer for someone else (see here)
- use a 'Guest Account' (see here)
In this article we cover how to access Patchs using NHS Login as a new user and as an existing user.
What to do when you are a new Patchs user
On your GP practice's welcome page, click on the Contact my GP button:
You will be taken to this page, where you can either:
1. Continue with Patchs, or
2. Continue with NHS Login.
If you're new to Patchs and would like to access Patchs with NHS Login, you should click on the Continue with NHS Login button on the bottom. You can find out more about NHS login here.
Please note, if you cannot see the Continue with NHS login button, it is because your GP practice has not enabled NHS Login access.
Once you click on the Continue with NHS Login button, you will be taken to the NHS Login page. Here you can either sign up for NHS login, or sign in if you have already set NHS Login up.
Once you have done this, you will then be directed back to Patchs.
Click on the Register a new Patchs account to link to your NHS Login button at the bottom:
Now you will need to read the Patient End User Licence Agreement (EULA) and confirm that you agree by checking the two boxes. Click Submit:
Now enter your additional demographic details and click Register when you have finished:
You will be sent an email containing a link to verify your email address. Click on the link to complete your registration:
Now, you will be able to begin your request help from your GP practice:
