Clinical Safety Case Reports

As an NHS-approved online consultation system, PATCHS must comply with the standards in DCB0129: Clinical Risk Management: its Application in the Manufacture of Health IT Systems set by NHS Digital. Similarly, GP practices that use online consultation systems and organisations that commission them must comply with DCB0160: Clinical Risk Management: its Application in the Deployment and Use of Health IT Systems.

As part of this, we produce a Clinical Safety Case Report for both the PATCHS 'core' product and PATCHS AI. These documents report the clinical safety evaluations we have conducted on PATCHS and PATCHS AI, and any clinical risks that users should be aware of when using them. GP practices and commissioning organisations must read, understand, and accept the risks in these documents before using PATCHS and PATCHS AI. These are 'living' documents and are updated as new features are introduced or new risks are identified.
