Sending a message to your patient via SMS
Find your patient
- Navigate to the Patients page - by selecting 'Patients' from the top navigation menu.
- Search for the patient you want to contact by typing their name (or part of their name) into the search box and pressing 'Enter'.
- Then select your patient from the list by clicking on them.
- This will open the patient details page from where you can send a message or schedule a video consultation.
- Click the Send message button.
- Type your message into the message box
Tick ‘send as SMS’ and send the message either as- ‘Reply required' if you expect an answer from the patient
or - ‘Reply not required’ if the patient doesn’t need to respond
- ‘Reply required' if you expect an answer from the patient
The message will be sent to the patient by SMS, and any responses from the patient will show in your personal inbox.
Scheduling a VC with your patient via SMS
Find your patient
- Navigate to the Patients page - by selecting 'Patients' from the top navigation menu.
- Search for the patient you want to contact by typing their name (or part of their name) into the search box and pressing 'Enter'.
- Then select your patient from the list by clicking on them
- This will open the patient details page from where you can send a message or schedule a video consultation.
- Select ‘Schedule video consultation’
- Tick ‘send as SMS’ and
- ‘Video call the patient now’
or - Select a date and time to video call the patient and ‘schedule’.
- ‘Video call the patient now’
This will send the patient an invitation to join a video consultation, and a link to the consultation.
